INDEPENDENT DESIGN PROJECT

As a backpacker, there's nothing quite like the craving for a refreshing treat after hours on the trail. I often wished for the convenience of a creamery right at the National Park visitor center. That longing, combined with a friend's timely suggestion during a slow freelance month, sparked the creation of Wild Swirls.
CHALLENGE
How do you capture the vast, immersive experience of a National Park in a single pint of ice cream?
It pushed me to explore the power of packaging design as a storytelling tool. By integrating captivating park illustrations and interesting facts, the packaging does more than just hold the ice cream. It becomes an extension of the Wild Swirls brand, designed to transport you to a specific National Park and enhance your overall experience. This endeavor allowed me to refine my ability to create visuals that not only inform but also evoke emotions and forge a deeper connection with the consumer.
