CLIENT PROJECT

In 2023, I had the honor of creating visual elements for the George Washington University's Distinguished Indigenous Leaders Lecture Series. This series was dedicated to fostering educational, professional, and economic opportunities for Indigenous communities. My design approach focused on creating a cohesive and culturally significant visual language for the event, which included multiple tribal nations. I chose to use rectangles and trapezoids, which represent the four directions and the interconnectedness of all things in many Native cultures. This shared symbolism allowed for a unified design that honored the individual identities of each tribe without cultural appropriation, creating a powerful and respectful visual brand for the series.
